Village activities and events in Bucknell

Bucknell is a small village in North Oxfordshire, a couple of miles north-west of Bicester. Much of what happens here happens at the village hall, from a weekly drop-in for tea and a chat to monthly bingo, film nights and talks.

Everything listed below is open to people living in Bucknell and the villages nearby. If you are new to the village, the drop-in on a Friday afternoon is an easy place to start. Each activity has its own contact, so you can ask about times and whether you need to book.

One-off and seasonal events

We have no one-off or seasonal events confirmed for the village calendar at the moment. When dates are set, they will appear on this page as a dated list, with the venue and times stated exactly, and past events will be moved to an archive so you are never reading something from two years ago.

Please note that the film night does not run in July and August.
